Privacy policy

Rocky creates, manages and guards your personal world model on your Mac and iPhone. This policy says what data Rocky uses and how.

What Rocky reads

Only the sources you turn on in the app, such as your Mac's screen, recordings you make, your messages, notes and calendars, and the accounts you connect. You can switch each one off at any time.

How Rocky uses it

Rocky builds your world model from it and shows it to you. AI agents you connect read it only after you approve them, and only what you allow. Rocky sends a message or adds an event only after you approve it.

Google user data

If you connect Google, Rocky reads your Gmail (gmail.readonly) and Google Calendar events (calendar.events.readonly) to build your world model. It never changes or deletes your mail. Sending mail (gmail.send) and adding events (calendar.events) are asked only when you first want them, and each email or event goes out only after you approve it. From Google Drive, Rocky reads only the files you pick (drive.file).

Rocky's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Rocky does not sell Google user data, does not use it for ads, and does not use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models. Nobody at Rocky reads it, except with your permission, for security, or when the law requires it.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Rocky shares it only with the agents you approve and with the service providers that host Rocky and run its AI processing. They use it only to run Rocky and do not train their models on it.

Storage and security

Your data is stored on servers in the United States and encrypted in transit and at rest.

Retention and deletion

Rocky keeps your data while your account is open. Disconnect an account in the app and Rocky stops reading it and deletes its access. Delete your account in Settings, or ask at the address below: your data is erased after 30 days and removed from backups within 60 days.

When this policy changes, we update this page.
